Abstract

In Pontianak, inflation in December occured because of the increase in the index in six groups of expenditure and a decrease in the index of the expenditure groups. The group that was increased by 1.65 percent Foodstuff group, Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco group, by 0.29 percent, the Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuel group 0.18 percent, Clothing group 2.5 percent, Health group by 0.75 percent, the Education, Recreation and Sports group by 0.50 percent. While the group index decreased namely the Transport, Communications, and Financial Services group amounted to -0.39 percent.
