Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a measure of development performance formed through three basic dimensions, namely long and healthy life, knowledge, and decent living. The HDI is used to determine the map of human development, including achievements, positions, and disparities between regions. Thus, it is hoped that each region can be motivated to strive to improve development performance by increasing the basic capacity of the population. The achievement of human development in Kalimantan Barat in 2020-2024 showed a very significant increase. In 2024, the status of human development in West Kalimantan was in the high category.
