Singkawang Municipality has an inflation of 0,38 percent on July 2022

In July 2022, Singkawang Municipality has inflation of 0.38 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.69.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index of nine expenditure groups. The expenditure groups that experienced an increase in the index were the personal care group by 1.08 percent; recreation, sports, and culture groups by 1.04 percent; education group by 0.83 percent; group of food and beverage providers/restaurants by 0.59 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.49 percent; transportation group by 0.20 percent; household equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 0.18 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.05 percent; and the clothing and footwear group by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, one expenditure group experienced a decrease in index, namely the information, communication and financial services group by 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, the health group experienced very small changes in the index so that it did not contribute significantly to inflation.

The inflation rate for the calendar year up to July 2022 is 3.69 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (July 2022 to July 2021) is 4.68 percent.
