Singkawang Municipality has an inflation of 1,30 percent on April 2022

In April 2022, Singkawang Municipality has inflation of 1.30 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.23.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in the ten expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced an increase in the index from the highest was the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.02 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provider group by 1.00 percent; household equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 0.69 percent; personal care group by 0.40 percent; health group by 0.21 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.18 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.07 percent; transportation group by 0.02 percent; information, communication, and financial services groups as well as groups for recreation, sports, and culture each with 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the education group experienced very small changes in the index so that it did not contribute significantly to inflation.

The inflation rate for the calendar year up to April 2022 is 2.32 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (April 2022 to April 2021) is 5.05 percent.
