Focus Group Discussion Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) 2023 Kalimantan Barat Province

Head of BPS-Statistics Kalimantan Barat Province, Muh Saichudin attended the 2023 IDI FGD for Kalimantan Barat Province. This FGD activity was carried out to measure the extent of the implementation and development of democracy in Kalimantan Barat in 2023. Muh Saichudin further explained that the IDI figure for Kalimantan Barat had reached 81.48 in 2022 and this figure was above the national average (80.41 ), but there needs to be an evaluation of the Equality and Capacity aspects of Democratic Institutions which are used as components of the IDI calculation. The principle of the IDI value is not to be compared between provinces but to examine how the Kalimantan Barat Province is experiencing progress in its democratic order.

The 2023 IDI FGD for Kalimantan Barat Province was held in the Meeting Room of the National Unity and Politics Agency for Kalimantan Barat Province. This activity is a collaboration between the BPS-Statistics Kalimantan Barat Province and National dan Political Agency of Kalimantan Barat Province.
