FGD for Preparation of West Kalimantan Regional Fiscal Study

Pontianak-Friday (21/01/2022), Division of Budget Implementation II, the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of West Kalimantan Province held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kalimantan Barat Province and Economist/Lecturer of FEB Tanjungpura University. The resource persons for this FGD were Dr. Preatin, SST., M.Sc. (Intermediate Expert Statistics from BPS West Kalimantan) and Dr. Restiatun, SE, M.Sc. (Lecturer/Secretary of Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Untan).

The FGD was opened by remarks as well as an explanation about the theme of the 2021 Annual KFR from Mr. Darta, the Head of PPA II Division, then continued by the presentation of material from the speakers, and a discussion session. The material discussed in this FGD is related to data, conditions, and analysis of regional economic indicators and analysis of regional welfare indicators. The discussion also discussed in depth the thematic analysis of the 2021 Annual KFR with the theme "Fiscal Role in Efforts to Improve the Quality of Human Resources: Analysis of the Human Development Index (HDI)" and analysis of the leading sector and regional potential of West Kalimantan as a manifestation of economic growth.
