FMIPA Tanjungpura University Pontianak commemorates the 18th Anniversary on Saturday, 30 November 2019 at the FMIPA Untan New Building. The reminder which was packaged in the Healthy Walk agenda was attended by the Lecturers, employees along with their families and FMIPA students. FMIPA Dean H. Afghani Jayuska, S.Sc., M.Sc., immediately took off the participants of the healthy walk who took the new FMIPA Building route to A Yani street and entered the Perdana street back to the FMIPA Untan New Building.
Seen in the front row, chief of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Barat Province, Ir. Pitono MAP was accompanied by several Head Fields of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Barat Province. Using T-shirts with the theme of the 2020 Population Census, Pitono was present to meet the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, to participate in a healthy walk and give a speech. Along the leisurely path there seemed to be a friendly conversation between the two top brass.
The series of activities ended with cutting cone, joint gymnastics, and drawing a doorprise. chief and Head of Administration of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Barat Province also received an award by receiving a piece of cone cone by the Dean of FMIPA.
In his remarks Pitono advised the students to be able to make the most of the educational period, take advantage of the existing campus facilities to support the learning program, and advised that they always be proud to be FMIPA Students.
In the future, it is expected that a harmonious relationship between BPS and Tanjung Pura University will continue, as BPS will soon implement the 2020 Population Census, support and participation of the University (in this case students) are highly expected. Goes to Campus, one of the SP2020 publicity programs that has been scheduled to be implemented at the next event.
